The short version

• What you type into the calculator never leaves your browser.
• There are no accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email or address.
• We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads. Both may set cookies.

Calculator inputs

Envelope sizes, weights, quantities and every other value you enter are processed by code running on your own device. They are not sent to our server or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.

Preferences stored on your device

If you switch to dark mode or to metric units, the site remembers that choice in your browser's local storage. This holds only the words "dark" or "light" and "metric" or "imperial". Clearing your browser data removes it.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type and the pages you view. It does not receive anything you type into the calculator. You can opt out with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising inGoogle Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses data from sites like this one inits partner sites policy.

Affiliate links

Some pages may link to products such as postal scales, envelopes or stamps. If you buy through one of those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer, not this site, handles your purchase and its own cookies.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and block abuse.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
